COREPS Île-de-France
The Comité régional des professions du spectacle (COREPS) Île-de-France is a regional body for dialogue between live and recorded performance professionals and public bodies.
The Missions
COREPS is a regional version of the Conseil National des Professions du Spectacle (CNPS). It brings together, around the State and local authorities, all the employers' and wage unions representative of live and recorded entertainment.
Its mission is to promote the sharing of information, good practices and constructive discussions to address the professional, economic and social challenges of companies and their employees in these sectors.
The COREPS concerns the whole field of the show composed today of a dozen professional branches: private performing arts, public performing arts, recorded music, audiovisual production, broadcasting, broadcasting, technical service providers, film and animation.
The Île-de-France region holds a unique position in the French cultural landscape:
- 39% of culture professionals live there, compared to 20% for other sectors.
- 28% of live performance employers are located in Île-de-France.
- 61% of audiovisual companies in France are based in Île-de-France.

COREPS was created by the circular of 4 March 2004, at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and at the request of the social partners in the entertainment sector.
A circular of 28 February 2022 Reiterates the importance of these bodies and the need to set them up in each region, stressing employment and training issues.
The rules of procedure of COREPS Île-de-France were adopted by the members of the Steering Committee on 21 March 2024 .
The COREPS Île de France is composed of:
- The State (DRAC Île-de-France and DRIEETS Île-de-France)
- The Regional Council of Île-de-France
- Trade unions representing employees and employers
- Associations of elected representatives
- Social, joint and civil society organizations
- Invited organizations
COREPS Île-de-France is co-chaired by the State (DRAC Île-de-France) and the Region (Conseil Régional d'Île-de-France).
Steering committee
The steering committee meets twice a year: coordinate and ensure the proper articulation of the work of COREPS Île-de-France.
In 2024, the Steering Committee was first held on 21 March.
Plenary assembly
The Plenary Assembly meets once a year. It reviews and evaluates the work carried out by COREPS Île-de-France.
Working groups
The working groups are at the heart of the work of COREPS Île-de-France. They are devoted to the in-depth analysis of the themes adopted by the steering committee.
In 2024, COREPS is structured around three working groups, each meeting three times:
1. Working Group "Employment, training and employment observation".
2. Working Group "Cultural policies".
3. Working Group "Work and working conditions".
