While in 2019, cinemas in the Centre-Val de Loire region had surpassed 7 million admissions for the first time, in 2020 they experienced the most serious crisis in their history.
The data on film exploitation are produced each year by the CNC (Centre National de la Cinématographie et de l'image animée). The information provided concerns: the number of cinemas, their geographical distribution, the number of screens, chairs, attendance, receipts...
