Born in 1993 in Romania, Stefania Crisan lives and works in Metz. She has a Master’s degree in painting from Timiskoara. His career was enriched by exchanges at the University Paris VIII and the continuation of his studies at the École supérieure d'Art de Lorraine in Metz.

Luxembourg Encouragement for Artists Prize
The Luxembourg Encouragement for Artists Prize (LEAP), created in 2016, rewards every two years an artist or group of contemporary artists. This award is intended to support those in all disciplines of the visual arts whose talent and vision have recently emerged and are ready to take the next step. Beyond the award, the LEAP aims to increase the visibility of the winning artist and to install him permanently in the world of contemporary art.

An exhibitionn of the 4 finalists
An exhibition and a collective catalogue present the 4 finalists of the selection. The fourth edition of the exhibition was held at the Rotondes from November 18 to December 4, 2022.
The LEAP prize was presented at the opening, in the presence of the Visual Arts Advisor of the DRAC Grand Est - Metz site Franck Bauchard. Stefania Crisan was notably supported by DRAC Grand Est, under thecreation assistance in 2021.
