As a local variation of the National Council of Territories for Culture ( CTC) chaired by the Minister of Culture, a local council of territories for culture is placed with the representatives of the state in each region. It is a place of exchange between associations and federations of local authorities and elected officials and the state service. It allows debate on the orientations and issues of cultural policies on territories. The Martinique CLTC Order was published on 13 September. It brings together, alongside the Director of Cultural Affairs and the Prefect, two representatives (holder and substitute) of the following six associations: Intercommunalités de France, Association des maires de France, France Urbaine, Régions de France, Villes de France and the FNCC.
