This system of financial support for acquisitions or restorations concerns documents to which their characteristics, seniority, rarity or origin confer a national heritage value.
Documents to be provided for a heritage acquisition grant application:
• An official grant application letter signed by the Mayor or President of the State Intercommunal Cooperation Institution (EPCI), addressed to Nicolas Georges, Director in charge of books and reading.
• An opportunity note justifying the acquisition project and its importance for the enrichment of the library’s holdings.
• A financing plan for the acquisition, in the form of a budget listing the community’s contribution and that of the Ministry of Culture.
• A copy of the invoice, along with the service certificate made by the City or PALS.
• The complete address of the local government library.
• City or SIPP references, city or SIPP SIRET number.
• A RIB and complete references of the treasury to which the grant is paid, i.e. the full address, the bank code, the branch code, the account number, the key.
Parts to be provided for a heritage restoration grant application :
N. B: to be eligible for financial support under the ARPIN, the restoration projects ofvhave received an authorization or a favorable opinion from the prefect of region (article R.311-3 of the code of patrimony).
The parts to be supplied are:
• An official grant application letter signed by the Mayor or the President of the Public Institution for Intercommunal Cooperation (EPCI), addressed to Nicolas Georges, Director in charge of books and reading.
• A restoration funding plan, in the form of a budget listing the community’s contribution and that of the Ministry of Culture.
• A copy of the final specifications prepared by the restoration workshop.
• The complete address of the local government library.
• City or SIPP references, city or SIPP SIRET number.
• A RIB and complete references of the treasury to which the grant is paid, i.e. the full address, the bank code, the branch code, the account number, the key.
Important: After payment of the grant, the recipient community must send a copy of the restoration report and a copy of the invoice.
