Theterritorial action of the Ministry of Culture and Communication in the field of Books and Reading Regional Cultural Affairs Directorates and their book and reading consultants, in conjunction with the Department of Territorial Action of the General Secretariat.

It is drawn up in coordination with the territorial action of the three public institutions (National Library of France, Public Information Library and National Book Centre).

It also draws on the actions of a number of partners, in particular the Interregional Book and Reading Federation and the regional structures for books.
