Library book purchases: where are we?
Over the past ten years, library book purchasing policies have had to adapt to major changes: redefining the legal and regulatory framework, changing cultural practices, developing the supply of new media, increasing budgetary constraints... An update on recent developments in library acquisition and their impact on bookstores through the presentation of data produced by the Reading Book Service.
