Launch April 3 in Albi
The guests took a guided tour of the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum and the Basilica of Saint Cecile d'Albi, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. After discovering the marvellous episcopal city and its southern Gothic architecture, the festivities continued by a musical time in the Hall of the Albigensian States with a representation of the conservatory of music and dance of the Tarn under the direction of Nicolas Storchi.
Fifth edition of the QFAO
Every year a call for projects is launched alternately in Germany and Occitania for civil society, associations and local authorities.
Driven by civil society, the fortnight marked more than a hundred projects. This new edition shows the fervour of local actors to keep alive the bonds forged over time between our two territories.
4 main themes are covered: Citizenship, Education, Culture, Economy. The Drac participates and accompanies the Culture Committee for the labelling of projects.
Conference on gardens and parks and abbeys
Of particular note 19 April 2033 at 4 pm at the Bambouseraie Prafrance in Générargues the holding of a conference on the gardens and parks of castles and abbeys by Vera Romeu, Director of Villa Domnick in Nürtingen.
These gardens and parks of castles and abbeys remain today privileged places of rest, cultural exhibition, and tourist animation. Vera Romeu has chosen to present to you specifically three singular and exemplary gardens: the garden of the Cistercian abbey of Bebenhausen in Tübingen, the French garden of the castle of Weikersheim, and the modern garden of the Villa Domnik in Nürtingen...
Immerse yourself in the exceptional history of these gardens and come to discuss the issues they face, whether it is the difficulties to protect them from tourist exploitation or the lack of financial means to maintain their prestige and value.
