La 33e The European Heritage Days celebrates an essential theme, inscribed in the history of the event and at the heart of our society:
"Heritage and citizenship".
Considering that the historical monuments which the State ensures the conservation must include not only the precious buildings in relation to their execution or the history of art, but also those which a glorious memory recommends to the respect of the people; Considering that the Salle du Jeu de Paume, in Versailles, is the place where, for the first time, the national will has taken place with brilliance and solemnity; on the report of the director of fine arts; let us stop: the Salle du Jeu de Paume, in Versailles, is classified among the historical monuments».
