Issue a call for applications
The decree concerning the «1%» stipulates that the programme of the artistic commission is the subject of an appropriate publicity on the part of the owner of the work allowing sufficient information to the artists, depending on the nature and the amount of the order. It also provides that the owner of the work must indicate the number of artists he will consult.
In order to promote the widest possible information on projects, the Ministry of Culture makes available to project owners who so wish a space to broadcast their calls for applications on this website. This allows artists, in particular, to learn about the current status of «1% artistic» ads.

Information technology and liberties
As part of its missions to monitor the application of the 1% artistic system, the Ministry of Culture has computer resources intended to constitute a national index of commissioned works.
The information recorded is reserved for the use of the services concerned and can only be communicated to the following recipients: artists retained to carry out a study and artist retained for the realization of a work, sponsor, owner of the works in question, researchers engaged in a scientific approach.
In accordance with Articles 39 et seq. of Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, relating to data processing, files and freedoms, any person may obtain communication and, if necessary, rectification or deletion of information concerning him, by contacting the service unpourcent.dgca@culture.gouv.fr with copy to info.contact@cil.cnrs.fr.
Any person may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of data concerning him.
