The laboratory "Models and Simulation for Architecture and Heritage" (UMR MAP 3495 CNRS/Ministry of Culture) is organizing a new training session: "Methods and strategies of the 2D/ 3D digital survey applied to monuments and heritage sites" in the framework of the CNRS Training Entreprises scheme from 27 to 31 March 2023 in Marseille.
By offering both theoretical and practical learning, the main objective is to give methodological keys to address the management and development of a heritage digitization project by complexity and diversity of digital resources produced, while anticipating the problem of their archiving. The program includes all the key stages, from the different 3D survey modalities and technologies, until the scientific literature or the promotion of the result to the general public, through the methods ofenrichment of product content.
At the end of this vocational training, the participants will identify and define the operative chain adapted to the context and objectives of their 2D/3D scanning project(s).This training is intended for all professionals (public and private sector) wishing to conduct or supervise physical heritage digitization activities at different scales. It will take place on 5 days, in the MAP laboratory on the CNRS Joseph Aiguier campus, Marseille.
