Specialization courses in architecture
. Some undergraduate and graduate training, organized by schools jointly with universities, lead to other higher education degrees: professional licenses (Marne-La Vallée, Strasbourg) and masters preparing for either working life or research.
. Postgraduate postgraduate training; may also lead to:
- at the doctorate in architecture prepared in 3 years within the ENSA Research Units. Henceforth, the ENSA, partners of university doctoral schools, can enrol doctoral students in doctoral studies and jointly award doctorates in architecture with universities.
- to diplomas in architecture specialization and deepening (DSA), national higher education diplomas of 1 to 2 years' duration, depending on the field. There are currently 4 mentions: urban project, project management (formulation of the order and project management), major risks, heritage. Not all schools issue this diploma.
- to school-specific degrees (DPEA). These diplomas, awarded by the schools and prepared in 1 or 2 years, result in training in specialized fields: design, scenography, earthquake-resistant construction, naval architecture, architecture and philosophy...
. In addition, several ENSA have developed partnerships with leading engineering schools to deliver double course architect-engineer to obtain, after a minimum of 7 studies, the two diplomas of architect and engineer.
