VIGIPIRATE Plan
Measures to strengthen and monitor cultural sites
Vigipirate posture «Spring 2018» is active from 1er march 2018 and applies, except for special events, until 13 June 2018.
The VIGIPIRATE plan is a tool for understanding the issues related to the terrorist threat and a decision support tool, intended to ensure that all actors are prepared for the threat of terrorist actions. It includes a public document (www.sgdsn.gouv.fr) aimed at mobilizing all actors and making the plan a tool for informing the citizen about the measures of protection and the vigilance behaviour that concerns him.
To complement this tool, the Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Ministry of the Interior publish guidelines of recommendations written by the prefect Hubert Weigel. April 2017 edition, which you can download thanks to the links opposite.
To supplement these guides, the NSDMS has prepared fact sheets for the attention of the heads of institutions receiving from the public and the public itself. These sheets are also downloadable on this page.
