Music and dance
The mission of the music and dance advisors is to accompany and develop musical and choreographic activities in Occitania, thus contributing to the implementation of the national orientations of the Ministry of Culture.

Main missions are in this context
- the examination of applications for grants to cultural structures and independent teams,
- support and advice to professional music and dance teams,
- the monitoring of institutions of artistic education specializing in music and dance,
- monitoring of rankings and requests for classification of conservatories (CRR, CRD and CRC/CRI),
- the monitoring of music classes | Cham and dance classes | Chad in connection with the National Education,
- monitoring of higher education institutions in music and dance,
- information and monitoring of the application of the Dance Act (now incorporated into the Code of Education), including the technical aptitude test | EAT and the State of Dance diploma | DE,
- The follow-up of requests relating to the employment of minor children in shows,
- monitoring the allowance for quality events in casinos,
- advice to local authorities, institutions and cultural structures whatever their legal form (association law 1901, Epic, Scop...).
