UDAP Hauts-de-Seine
The Hauts-de-Seine department is the smallest department in France after Paris; its surface area is double that of the capital and its population density is the second largest in France after Paris. Green spaces or forests, including the Meudon forest, the Parc de Sceaux, the Saint Cloud domain, cover 45% of its territory.
Our missions
The UDAP des Hauts-de-Seine (92) has three main missions: to advise and promote quality urban planning and architecture; to monitor and evaluate projects carried out in protected areas; to ensure the conservation of historic monuments. The UDAP managers are generally architects and urban planners of the State (AUE) with the title of architects of French buildings (ABF).

Topography of the department. Its geography, which has only 36 communes in total, is characterized by three distinct entities: the dense, flat and urban communes bordering Paris (the city of Boulogne-Billancourt); the hillsides that are often quite wooded (Meudon, Malmaison, Sceaux, etc.) and the plateaus away from the capital. The Ministry of Culture is responsible for many national estates protected under the title of historical monuments (Meudon, Rueil-Malmaison, Saint-Cloud and Sèvres) covering a cumulative total of 540 hectares. The protected areas (sites and surroundings historical monuments) cover 50% of the area of the department and concern 75% of the inhabitants.
