Theatre - Street Arts - Circus Arts - Puppetry
Au sein du Pôle création de la DRAC, les conseillers théâtre - arts de la rue - arts du cirque et arts de la marionnette sont chargés de mettre en œuvre, en région, la politique définie par le ministère de la Culture dans ces domaines.
The work of the advisers covers three main areas:
- creation and dissemination;
- advice and information;
- Training and special education.
Their main tasks
- they Provide information and advice to artists, local authorities and cultural operators and cultivate an ongoing dialogue with all stakeholders in order to coordinate the various initiatives;
- they follow the activities and management of theatrical institutions Established in the region and certified or supported by the Ministry of Culture (national stages, drama centres, national centres of circus arts, stage agreements.);
- they Examine applications for grants for measures to promote the creation, dissemination, training and democratization of culture;
- they are responsible forOrganize advisory committees Composed of qualified personalities who give an opinion on the most relevant applications. Thus two types of aid can be granted: aid for dramatic production (ad hoc and intended for a project) and the agreement (multi-year in support of the professional structuring and/ or artistic development of a team);
- Privileged contacts on training issues For professionals, they also provide advice to local and regional authorities, who ask them to provide specialized education.
The budget allocated to the service shall consist, on the one hand, of intervention appropriations for the support of labels, directors, drama companies and venues in a spirit of artistic demand, on the other hand of equipment appropriations for renovation, Even the construction of theatres.

The DRAC Grand Est’s decentralized aid for live entertainment is twofoldx kinds:
- Aid for contractual arrangements (multi annual)
The agreement is intended to accompany the artists' journey, artists' collectives, companies and professional ensembles whose dissemination capacities go beyond the regional framework for the implementation of their artistic and cultural project as a whole.
It is granted for two, three or four consecutive years With regard to the evaluation of the artistic and cultural project and the artistic journey. This assistance is intended for the most innovative and confirmed teams on the artistic level and whose achievements have a national reputation.
- Project support (ad hoc)
This is a one-time grant to support the production of a new creation, or to allow the resumption or recreation of a show after a period of interruption.
