Higher education
The mission of the Higher Education Officer at DRAC Grand Est is to support institutions under the Ministry of Culture and develop a partnership policy towards other higher education institutions, both in terms of training, research, scientific and technical culture, and artistic and cultural education for students.
Higher education
The Grand Est region has a large number of higher education and research sites:
- 5 universities under the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation;
- 9 schools under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture;
To which are added all the training provided in high schools under the supervision of the national education or private institutions.
Tasks of the Project Manager
The Higher Education Officer is responsible for:
- implement ministerial priorities for higher education;
- coordinate the partnerships and actions carried out by DRAC Grand Est on a Grand Est scale;
- stimulate new partnerships;
- strengthening networks in the territory;
- contribute to the influence of establishments, particularly at cross-border level.
This transversal mission is implemented in relation to all the teams of the DRAC Grand Est (heritage, creation, cultural democratization) and the actors of the higher education of the territory, all tutelage combined:
- promoting the diversity of cultural and artistic training in the Far East;
- encouraging basic and applied research in the arts;
- to promote students' access to culture in all its forms and to promote students' artistic and cultural activities;
- support the cultural component of the establishment projects;
- monitor the professional integration of graduates in artistic and cultural disciplines;
- support cultural entrepreneurship.
