Overseas National Archives (ANOM)
Heiresses to more than three centuries of history, the Overseas National Archives preserves two large collections with a different administrative and archival past:
- the archives of the State Secretariats and Ministries responsible for XVIIe century to the twentiethe century, of the French colonies;
- the archives transferred from the former colonies and Algeria at the time of independence between 1954 and 1962, with the exception of the management archives left in the countries concerned.
