With the renewal of the Territorial Contract of Artistic and Cultural Education (CTEAC) and the Territory-Reading Contract (CTL) with the Community of Municipalities (CDC) of Aunis Atlantic for 2023-2026, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) de Nouvelle-Aquitaine reaffirms its support for equal access to culture for all inhabitants of the territory, especially young people.
These new contracts demonstrate the attention paid by the CDC to the enhancement and enrichment of the cultural resources of its territory through a series of participatory actions.
Developing the cultural offer on the territoire
The CDC of Aunis Atlantique affirms its will to continue the cultural development of the territory, in close articulation with the Territorial Contract of Artistic and Cultural Education and the network of 18 libraries of the territory, supported within the framework of the Contract territoryreading. As part of the Territorial Educational Project (PEDT), the CTEAC covers all sectors of youth concerned by the actions of double contractualization, whether school time, early childhood or leisure reception.
Strengthen the network of public reading
The CTL’s priority objective is to strengthen synergies and coordination within the network of 18 libraries in the territory. A tool for boosting all forms of encounters between editorial production, authors and the public, it also appears to be an extension of the offer already offered by the departmental media library in areas not equipped with professional libraries. It also aims to facilitate intergenerational meetings, through projects involving EHPAD, schools and libraries in the territory.
Each year, the DRAC financially supports the planned actions and events of the CTEAC and the CTL up to 50%.
Projects at the heart of arts and cultural education
The projects carried out by the CTEAC and the CTL honor the adolescent public, by proposing artistic paths through workshops and shows with various themes: the environment (marsh and territory) or fake news (Journalism background/ decrypting information) for example. With artistic creation as a means of reflection, participants are made aware of current issues.
The ContraTerritorial Arts and Cultural Education (CTEAC)
The Territorial Contract of Arts and Cultural Education (CTEAC) is a program of actions of education and awareness of arts and culture. With the aim of generalizing Arts and Cultural Education, the CTEAC promotes the design, coordination and dissemination of artistic, cultural and educational projects in the territories.
The contract territread-out (CTL)
Created for a period of three years and renewable once, the Territory-Reading Contract (CTL) promotes and implements partnerships between the State and local authorities around reading development projects, led by the libraries of the territories, and associating authors, artists, through projects calling for the participation of the various audiences affected.
