The "Art d'Accéder à l'Emploi" system

The aim of the scheme is twofold:
- Realize on innovative accompanying actions and recruitment in a cultural place by allowing job seekers and companies to meet through Art;
- Remobilize through Art the most vulnerable job seekers, in particular the long-term job seekers, the beneficiaries of the RSA, the youth, the public living in the Priority District of the City, job seekers with disabilities to accelerate their return to employment
Historical
Since 2016, experiments have been conducted with a handful of museums and cultural structures. In 2017, the winning of the first prize «Dare the Museum» by the Louvre-Lens Museum and the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille tied a way of working the social, economic and societal issues unique to the region’s museums and capable of inventing new solutions: created by the Ministry of Culture, this award distinguishes institutions engaged in a proactive and innovative policy towards people in situations of exclusion or social and economic vulnerability.
Subsequently, Pôle emploi Hauts-de-France, supported by the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) Hauts-de-France deploys the «Art d'Accéder à l'Emploi» system on the entire regional territory.
On the occasion of the assessment day organized this 1st June at the Louvre-Lens, Hilary Multon, Regional Director of Cultural Affairs of Hauts-de-France, recalls the launch of the dissemination phase of the scheme launched in 2021: “A year and a half ago the “Art of Employment” bet was on. I immediately believed in this initiative that opens the doors of our museums to job seekers.”
In 2022, these are 121 regular operations labeled "The Art of access to employment" which have been offered to job seekers and businesses throughout the region.
Review of the first year of this unprecedented scheme
Thursday, June 1, at the Louvre-Lens Stage, Frédéric Danel, Regional Director of Pôle emploi Hauts-de-France, presented the results and outlook of the Art of Accessing Employment.
This conference returns, through numerous testimonies, on the benefits of the device: 88% of job seekers are satisfied with their participationThese include the discovery of personal and professional skills and abilities, work on self-confidence and the original approach to job search.
Thanks to the "Art d'Accéder à l'Emploi" three out of four applicants received at least one proposal job offers, support services, training...
This was also an opportunity to give the floor to some of the 71 partners, in order to express the three major challenges of these mechanisms: remobilize, recruit differently and work together. These effective cooperation between the Employment Pole agencies and cultural structures have made it possible to 121 actions for more than 1000 job seekers over the entire Hauts-de-France region in 2022.
This balance also projects towards the future building on successes and territorial networking to increase the integration of the most vulnerable audiences across the region.
