The 8e edition of the Journées nationales de l'architecture will take place from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October 2023, in metropolitan France and overseas.
Created at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture in 2016, these Days are intended to federate initiatives that contribute to the discovery of architecture and its professions by all audiences. They aim to reveal the presence of contemporary architecture throughout the territory, whether major projects or everyday constructions: housing, transport, public infrastructure, sports or cultural facilities, etc.
For this 2023 edition, the National Architecture Days will be dedicated to the place and role of architecture in the ecological transition to highlight sustainable and responsible architecture, less consuming in non-renewable resources and energy, healthier and more adapted to current lifestyles and changes in our world.
In this context, the Ministry of Culture is committed to an architecture that places people and the environment at the center of its approach and that crystallizes the issues of the ecological transition while affirming the role of architecture as transformation lever to meet the challenges ahead.
For three days, architecture will be discovered in all its facets throughout France through a rich and ambitious program that offers meetings and debates, visits to architectural agencies and construction sites, urban walks, open houses, exhibitions…
Many unmissable events are offered, including:
