On November 24, 2020, the Call for Proposals Selection Committee Innovative digital services selected the 16 winners of the 2020 edition from among the 118 applications received.
This call for projects aims to support technological or user innovations in the cultural sector and enables innovation actors to achieve a “proof of concept” in partnership with a cultural actor.
For this edition, the selection committee was composed of representatives of all the directorates of the Ministry of Culture and three qualified personalities: Jean-Gabriel Minel, marketing strategy and innovation advisor at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery, Frédéric Olivennes, Managing Director of Audiens, and Laure Pressac, consulting partner at Ogilvy Consulting.
Meeting on November 24, 2020, committee members selected 16 projects supported by companies, associations or research laboratories.
Based on technologies that are not yet widespread in the field of culture or likely to help create new digital uses for cultural actors, For example, they will test how new sound diffusion technologies can promote public interaction with works or explore the benefits of automatic data processing and language.
The 2020 edition paid particular attention to projects promoting the online “discoverability” of Francophone cultural content: three projects were able to convince the jury of their ability to mobilize data in order to improve the visibility of cultural offers and actors.
Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, Minister of Culture, welcomes the renewed success of this support mechanism for digital initiatives that help both to reinvent the cultural offer and to support actors in the sector with high development and innovation potential.
