David Rochline passed away at the age of 64. He was an artist gifted with all talents, an original creator until the extravagance, who marked the middle of the stage as that of the plastic arts.
No profession on the stage was foreign to this faithful accomplice of Jean-Michel Ribes and the Théâtre du Rond-Point. With an inexhaustible fantasy, he knew and reinvented them all: the professions of actor, singer, director, like those of costume designer or prop designer... The audience of the Festival d'automne will long remember «Paris Gipsy», which he created and performed in 1987.
He was also an internationally renowned Illustrator. He left his mark on many film sets and legendary magazines such as “Lui” and “Rock and Folk”.
His last iconic performance in «Opium» in 2013, presented at the Cannes Film Festival out of competition, keeps his image alive forever.
