The audiovisual archives of the CNRA
In 2019, the National Council for Archaeological Research (CNRA) celebrated its 25th anniversary, a quarter of a century of French archaeology that has undergone profound changes. This anniversary was the occasion to launch a project to create an audiovisual archive of archaeology.
Through the portraits of actors in archaeology, men and women belonging to different generations and institutions, a plural and mosaic history of archaeology is emerging.
This film, shot in 2019, is conceived in a four-part scenario from the creation of the CNRA in 1994 to the perspectives for the archaeology of tomorrow. It is extended by the editing of individual portraits, so that the history of archaeology can also be written thanks to these archives.
