The patronage on historical monuments

The Ministry of Culture is accompanied in its action by patrons who contribute to the knowledge and safeguarding of historical monuments and remarkable heritage sites.

Foundations

Among the 657 public utility foundations that exist as of August 31, 2020, some provide direct support for protected heritage, for example during a local patronage campaign on the occasion of the European Heritage Days; others, such as the Heritage Foundation participate in actions to safeguard heritage elements protected or not under the title of historical monuments and accompany the action of the State and local authorities in this sector.
