In a completely redesigned document interface are now available: end-of-studies memories of restorative students, reports of restoration or school sites, analysis reports, audio or video retransmissions of scientific and cultural events, bibliographies, newsletters and jury reports. The interface allows, on the one hand, to carry out free searches by collections or by themes (conservation-restoration - dissemination and cultural mediation - management of cultural goods - history of art - research - sciences of materials), but also to refine this search by keyword, dating, location and type of intervention (collage, dust removal, filling, etc.).
The progressive online implementation of all digital resources for the documentation of works produced by the department of restorers has required an important indexing work that will eventually allow their scraping by heritage platforms, at national or European level.
This new digital media library is the first step in the overall redesign of the National Heritage Institute’s web applications: the new website of the institution, more ergonomic and with enriched content, should be online as of next fall.
