Le dictionnaire des francophones, a digital and collaborative dictionary
Evolutionary, this dictionary already includes a rich corpus of French terms and expressions : more than 500,000 French terms and expressions from 52 countries. It is available as a free and contributory mobile app. You will discover the words and expressions of French-speaking countries: chat (Québec), spring water, throw a camel (Democratic Republic of the Congo), career break (Belgium), have a sweet mouth (Ivory Coast)… It will also allow you to consult resources (pedagogical, lexicographic, etc.) from all over the Francophonie!
The French Dictionaryis a unpublished linguistic object. Based on political will, it responds to one of the key measures of the action plan launched by the President of the Republic in March 2018. Conceived from the outset as a collective project, the French Dictionary is led by the General Delegation for the French Language and Languages of France (Ministry of Culture) and implemented by the International Institute for the Francophonie (2IF) of the University Jean Moulin Lyon III.
Many French-speaking partners have joined in, including the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Agence universitaire de la francophonie (AUF), the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), members of the Francophone OPALE network (Language policy and planning bodies), the French Institute, the French Overseas Academy of Sciences (ASOM), TV5MONDE and France Médias Monde.
The French Dictionary is a scientific and technological approach. Developed through a specialist council led by professor and linguist Bernard Cerquiglini, this dictionary aims to to bring to life the exceptional richness and diversity of the French language as practised on the five continents by showing it and sharing it.

350 ressources culturelles et scientifiques francophones en vidéo
Contrairement à ce que la mondialisation et l’ère numérique pourraient laisser à penser, l’anglais n’est pas la seule langue d’Internet, y compris des contenus de divertissement et de culture.
Ce document recense quelques 350 chaînes YouTube culturelles et scientifiques francophones potentiellement adaptées à un usage éducatif, sélectionnées pour la qualité de leur contenu. Les chaînes sont rangées ici par disciplines traditionnellement enseignées à l’école en France : littérature, langue, histoire, géographie, éducation civique, philosophie, économie, mathématiques, physique-chimie, biologie, technologie, arts, sport et, pour ne pas laisser de côté les atypiques, culture générale.
Trois derniers thèmes ont été ajoutés car il semblait qu’ils pouvaient présenter un intérêt transversal, qu’il s’agisse de psychologie, discipline souvent oubliée par les enseignements classiques dont la connaissance peut pourtant s’avérer utile pour le grand public, surtout adolescent ; de méthodologie, dont la maîtrise est nécessaire dans toutes les disciplines ; ou enfin des ressources destinées aux plus jeunes apprenants.
Chaque entrée indique le nom de la chaîne, cliquable vers la chaîne elle-même, des mots-clefs permettant la requêtabilité du document, et sa description, soit par le ou la vidéaste soit par l’autrice de cette base de données.
Ce document, librement réutilisable et disponible ci-dessous, sera mis à jour périodiquement. Ceci étant, nous vous invitons à le diffuser sans lui apporter de modifications : si vous souhaitez communiquer votre expertise ou suggérer des chaînes, n'hésitez pas à nous faire part de vos remarques.

L'inventaire des 350 chaînes Youtube culturelles et scientifiques francophone a été réalisé par Mathilde Hutin, linguiste doctorante (université Paris VIII). Ce travail, entrepris depuis plusieurs années, a reçu en 2018 le soutien de la Délégation générale à la langue française et aux langues de France (ministère de la Culture) en raison de l'intérêt singulier qu'il représente dans un cadre d'apprentissage du français en tant que langue étrangère, langue d'intégration, ou, plus généralement, dans un cadre pédagogique ou éducatif.
"Le Grand bol d’air" : une nouvelle virtuelle et interactive sous forme d’enquêtes pour jouer avec la langue française !
Ce jeu vidéo vous propose de guider Solo, Mélodie et Tempo dans leur quête du « grand bol d’air ». Vivant sur une île de Philharmonie où l’air est devenu suffoquant suite à l’explosion d’une parfumerie, ils doivent trouver la raison de la catastrophe et tenter de purifier l’air. Ils s’engagent dans un périple à travers les cinq continents pour anéantir cette pollution ambiante.
En suivant leurs aventures, vous découvrirez de nouveaux mots et de nouvelles expressions francophones. Vous échangerez avec des personnages de cultures variées et trouverez des objets inédits nécessitant de mobiliser vos connaissances sur la langue française. Ainsi, vous les aiderez à progresser dans leur quête.
L’histoire est composée de 5 chapitres, reprenant chacun un mot du domaine de l’air. Philharmonie est un petit État insulaire de l’océan Pacifique fondé au 18ème siècle par un luthier naufragé. C’est sur cette île paisible que se déroulent les aventures de Mélodie, Solo et leurs camarades du collège Sans Fausse Note. Il y a quelques années, un tragique accident plongea Mélodie dans une profonde léthargie. Ses parents l’amenèrent à Paris dans l’espoir de pouvoir un jour la réanimer.
Un jour, Solo, le meilleur ami de Mélodie, fit une découverte surnaturelle. Lorsqu’il porte la casquette de celle-ci, il peut communiquer avec elle par l’esprit... ce qui lui est fort utile pour réussir les contrôles scolaires.
Chapitre 1 : La quiétude habituelle de Philharmonie fut troublée un matin par une terrible explosion. Recouvrant l’île d’un mystérieux et inquiétant nuage de parfum... Parviendrez-vous à retrouver le ou la coupable de cette explosion ? Il y a deux potentiels suspects...
Chapitre 2 : Vous partez désormais à la recherche du fameux Grand Bol d'Air ! Pendant ce voyage, vous rencontrerez unaéronaute aventurier et un nouveau suspect s'ajoute à votre liste... Bientôt vous vous rendrez au Québec dans un aérostat qui s'appelle le Manchot Volant.
Ce jeu est le premier de la série Franco-Symphonie, il a été développé spécialement pour la Semaine de la langue française et de la Francophonie 2021 qui a pour thème « l’air ». Au diapason de l’édition 2021 de « Dis-moi dix mots », il s’y cache les dix mots que chacun pourra s’amuser à retrouver dans les différents dialogues.

Target audience: this game is aimed at the general French-speaking audience (French mother tongue and learners), with a target heart 12-18 years.
Challenge: 3 levels are offered (beginner, intermediate and confirmed), which makes this game accessible to FLE teaching.
An initiative proposed by Maison de la Francophonie de Dalat (Vietnam) and supported by the DGLFFA.
"Neighbours of the 12 bis", a bilingual fiction for learning French
Original audio (podcast) of 13 episodes, bilingual French/English, French/Arabic and French/Persian, the series «Les voisins du 12 bis» immerses you in the life of a Parisian building. She tells the story of a group of friends and neighbours searching for a young woman who captivated them with her voice and her committed songs.
Following their adventures, this series offers a complete and playful device of learning French. In each episode, it is possible to discover a path of autocorrective exercises as well as teaching sheets and additional exercises on RFI Savoirs to learn French in everyday life situations.
