- Actions aimed at the public
Access to culture for prevented persons or specific public is a strong axis of the Ministry of Culture and Communication that builds partnerships with other services of the State. In the Paca region, the Drac has established conventions to encourage cultural and artistic activities.
With the Department of Justice:
For those incarcerated, the Drac has joined forces with the Regional Directorate of Prison Services by signing a convention in 2008. The two services work in partnership to develop cultural projects in prisons. A new convention is under consideration.
For minors covered by the Youth Protection Services, an agreement was signed in October 2006 and renewed since then between the Regional Directorate for Youth Protection (DRPJJ) and the Drac. This partnership is intended to promote the reintegration of young people through cultural outreach activities. These actions are carried out in collaboration with the departmental directorates of judicial protection of youth.
In collaboration with the Region and the services of the Ministry of Justice, a mission was entrusted to the Regional Book Agency in 2015 to reactivate the development of libraries in prison centers. The objective is to foster the emergence of public reading projects and development of reading for audiences under the control of justice and to create the conditions for favourable partnerships with public libraries in the territories concerned.
The intersection of audiences Cooperation with the Regional Directorates for Youth and Sport, Agriculture and Forestry and the Environment is also taking place through various partnership actions.
In the field of Health:
The Drac participates in the implementation of the Culture/Health protocol. It supports projects of regional scope on disability issues. In addition, it supports and promotes the emergence of projects and teams responsible for cultural development in the region’s main hospitals. It notably supports the AP-HM or the association Entr'Actes which carries the 3BisF.
