Training in artistic creation in public spaces

The FAI-AR in Marseille (15th) is the reference institution for artistic training in public spaces. It runs a cycle of higher education aimed at young artists who wish to develop their abilities to create and carry artistic productions in public space.
The competition to enter the class 2023-2025 has been open since September 19, 2022 and applications are open until 13 January 2023.

Who is this training for?

The training is aimed at people who master an artistic discipline (theatre, dance, music, visual arts, landscape, architecture, etc...) and who wish to professionalize their approach to the public space. The FAI-AR does not train in a particular artistic discipline but addresses the specificities of creation in public spaces in a transversal way, based on the initial skills of apprentices.
The FAI-AR graduates are authors-directors of artistic projects in public space and also obtain a master’s degree «Dramaturgy and stage writing in public space» delivered by Aix-Marseille University.
