Fishermen’s chapel probably dating from the second half of the 16th century. In 1957, when it was used as a shed for nets, Jean Cocteau created a painted decoration that covers the entire interior surface of the chapel and is also present on the façade. Many local artists and craftsmen are helping him, including the painter Jean-Paul Brusset for the installation of the figures. Inaugurated in June 1957, this first chapel painted by Cocteau has five main scenes, the first two evoking the Mediterranean life and the next three relating episodes of the life of Saint Peter.
