On the foundations of a first church begun by the architect Louis Castel, the first crypt of the church Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc is built between 1924 and 1926 by the architect Jacques Droz, assisted by Lebel, architect in Grasse. The church, completed in 1933, consists of three large ovoid domes in reinforced concrete, studied by the office of Louis Pelnard-Considère and Albert Caquot and executed by the firm Thorrand, specialist in reinforced concrete. The murals are made by Eugene Klementieff from 1934 to 1935. The 60-meter high campanile is independent of the church.
