The hotel was built in 1900 by the Niçois architect Jules Sioly, for Madame Sabatier, who signed a commercial lease with the Swiss hotelier Candrian. Villa Alhambra, now Eliand, was added in the northwest corner of the plot before 1906. On the front, a garden isolates the establishment from the boulevard. The hotel became apartment building after World War II. Consisting of three bodies of buildings aligned from east to west on a very open V-shaped plan, it is characterized by the Neo-Momauresque style of its facades: minarets, horseshoe arches, decoration...
