La Frontale du port de Toulon
The buildings of the Frontale du port de Toulon, built in 1950 by the architect Jean de Mailly (1911-1975), were the subject of a rehabilitation campaign.
On this occasion, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Cultural Affairs Directorate conducted a historical and documentary study, the results of which contributed to the rehabilitation choices.
By presenting the historical context and the innovative architectural party of this construction, this study also constitutes the contribution of the State to the exhibition organized by the city of Toulon on this architectural and urban ensemble, Heritage of the 20th century by the Ministry of Culture and Communication in the year 2000.
