Irene Bonacina
The winner of Forcalquier Manosque’s first writing residency for youth is Irene Bonacina.
A graduate of the Estienne School of Arts and Decos in Strasbourg, Irène Bonacina is an artist and illustrator. Youth illustration, engraving, sketchbooks, allow him to express a variety of worlds and to pursue a research in drawing and matter. His work was selected at the Bologna Fair in 2007, and shown in many exhibitions. Her work has been published by Éditions Chandeigne, Syros, Didier Jeunesse, and her first book will be published in October 2011 by Editions La Joie de Lire in Geneva.
Since 2009, she has also developed workshops for children around themes related to her work.
