Historical monuments
Within the Drac, the Regional Conservation of Historic Monuments (CRMH) implements the actions of protection, scientific and technical control, financing and upgrading of buildings and movable objects protected under the legislation on historic monuments.
To carry out these missions, it has a service composed of administrative, scientific, technical and financial agents, directed by the regional curator of historical monuments, under the authority of the Regional Director of Cultural Affairs and the Director of Heritage and Architecture.
The CRMH Occitanie is located on two sites: Montpellier and Toulouse. The tasks assigned to each member of the service are distributed geographically.
To ensure its missions, the MHRC works closely with the Regional Archaeology Service (SRA) , the Departmental units of architecture and heritage (Udap) , the Curators of antiquities and works of art (CAOA), the heritage architects, the chief architects of historical monuments (ACMH) and the conservation and restoration professionals.
