Signing of the new Culture-Justice Protocol
On 16 December 2022, at the Minoterie in Dijon, Mr Guillaume Piney, Interregional Director of Penitentiary Services, Mr Renaud Houdayer, Interregional Director of Youth Judicial Protection, and Mrs Aymée Rogé, Regional Director of Cultural Affairs of Burgundy-Franche-Comté have signed the new protocol Culture-Justice.
This new protocol concludes for four years sets out common guidelines to guarantee access to culture for persons placed under the control of the judiciary. This protocol is the renewal of the 2019-2021 protocol. It is an extension of the Culture-Justice National Protocol of March 14, 2022, signed by the Department of Justice and the Department of Culture, on access to culture for persons under the control of justice, both minors and adults.
Strengthening the links between Culture and Justice
The main objectives of the Protocol are:
- to offer to persons placed under the control of justice a quality cultural offer;
- to develop the structuring of the partnership between the actors of culture and justice, notably through agreements, territorial and regional;
- developing the skills of both culture and justice professionals through the implementation of training and/or joint thematic meetings;
- strengthen the professionalisation of beneficiaries in the artistic and cultural sectors.
The signing time of the new protocol has thus made it possible to highlight the partners and the various cultural projects carried out.
