The regional committee of performing professions (COREPS) of Burgundy-Franche-Comté met for its first plenary session on February 1, 2023 in Dijon. Created at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture, the committee is a space for exchange and consultation between all the actors of live performance.
Regional Committee of Performing Professions (COREPS) of Burgundy-Franche-Comté
Installed in July 2022, COREPS is a social dialogue body. It intervenes throughout the region Burgundy-Franche-Comté and brings together the State, local authorities as well as the professional branches of live performance, cinema and audiovisual.
Members of the COREPS are the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs (DRAC) and the Regional Directorate for Economy, Employment, Labour and Solidarity (DREETS), the Regional Council, associations of local authorities, trade union organisations of employees, representative employers' organisations.
Social organizations and civil societies with a mission in the field of social protection, copyright and related rights, and any professional organisation working in the field of COREPS having influence at local level are associate members.
Finally, various regional bodies are invited to COREPS.
The COREPS comprises three dialogue bodies:
- the steering committee co-chaired by the DRAC and the Regional Council;
- working groups: three themes were selected: employment-training, working conditions and dissemination-production. They shall meet regularly;
- the plenary session, organized once a year: it is a matter of taking stock of the past year and discussing the projects to be undertaken.
First Plenary Assembly on 1er Feb 2023
COREPS met for its first plenary meeting on 1er February 2023 in Dijon.
The functioning of COREPS was repeated at this meeting.
This time allowed us to take stock of the initial work done by the working groups between July 2022 and January 2023.
