Cultural and territorial action
Cultural and territorial action: tool of cultural democratization for audiences furthest from artistic and cultural practices and structures.
Mis à jour le
The cultural and territorial action aims to allow everyone to meet artistic offers and participate in the cultural life of his territory.
The projects supported by the Cultural and Territorial Action Service and the measures it develops enable:
- to live collective artistic experiences, considering that art makes us sensitive to others and the world;
- create sustainable dynamics of territorial cooperation between public, social, educational, cultural and artistic actors.
The projects and mechanisms for cultural and territorial action thus participate in:
- the emancipation of individuals and the construction of social ties;
- equal access to artistic and cultural practices according to age, living conditions, social origins or territorial specificities.
To do this, the Cultural and Territorial Action Pole contributes, starting from people in their daily lives, to the design and implementation of cultural, transversal and partnership policies, in close connection with the other services of the DRAC, other decentralized services of the State and local authorities:
- development and support of a territorialized policy of artistic and cultural education throughout life, primarily through multi-year partnership agreements with local authorities and other State services (Ministries of National Education and Youth, Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Solidarity and Families, Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion) and with the Federations of Popular Education;
- support for projects in rural areas or neighbourhoods in city politics;
- support for amateur artistic practices through dedicated mechanisms promoting collaboration with artists and professional artistic structures
- support actions promoting participation and access to art for all within the framework of inter-ministerial policies: Culture/Justice, Culture/Health, Culture/Disability;
- development and support of a policy for the valorisation and sharing of natural and cultural heritage (Cities and Countries of Art and History, Unesco sites, youth volunteer camps, etc.)
- support for initial and continuing training in cultural, social and educational activities.
Acting on one or two departments each, cultural action advisors are the privileged interlocutors all the partners in each department and testify to the reality of these territories with the other sectors of the DRAC.
The cultural and territorial action pole coordinates at regional level various national calls for projects (local media support fund, This is my heritage! ... ). It conducts calls for regional projects with its partners (culture-justice, health culture, territorial conventions).
Check out the calls for projects regularly put online.
