Dance and music
The music and dance advisor has the mission to accompany and develop the musical and choreographic activities in the Reunion and on the Indian Ocean area, thus contributing to the implementation of the national orientations of the Ministry of Culture
His work covers all musical and choreographic genres (classical music, contemporary music, traditional music, and all types of dance represented at Reunion: hip-hop, Indian dance, contemporary dance, etc.).
Live entertainment advisers are available to national policies and are training services for regional policies ( RCF, FEBECS...)
Its main missions are:
The instruction and support des grant applications cultural structures and independent teams,
Support and advice professional music and dance teams,
Support for regional services
Support for creation and dissemination:
The follow-up tax credits for quality artistic events (MAQ) in casinos,
The development of partnerships with local authorities, institutions and cultural structures whatever their legal form (association law 1901, cultural enterprises whatever their form...).
The follow-up of art schools specialized in music and dance,
The monitoring of rankings and requests for classification of conservatories (CRR and CRC/CRI),
Information and monitoring of the application of the 1988 Dance Act (now part of the Education Code) including the Technical Aptitude Examination (FTWE) and the State Dance Diploma (DE)
Monitoring the implementation of the two regional schemes:
the Diagram of artistic teachings
the layout of the rooms and places of creation and presentation of the live performance
The monitoring of applications relating to the employment of minor children in shows,
The advisor provides her expertise:
- the Regional Director of Cultural Affairs,
- to the professionals: artistic teams, training and dissemination structures (Scenes of contemporary music, Opera, general stages, festivals) of which she is the privileged interlocutor.
- To lovers of the performing arts
