The departmental units of architecture and heritage (UDAP) of the Centre-Val de Loire
The departmental units of architecture and heritage (UDAP), within the DRAC of the Centre-Val de Loire, are located in each of the six departments of the region: Cher, Eure-et-Loir, Indre, Indre-et-Loire, Loir-et-Cher and Loiret.
You are located in a protected area and you plan to carry out specific work? It is important that you check the suitability of your project with the protected area in which it is registered, before filing an application for work authorization.
In this process, consultation with the UDAP may be necessary.
Prepare my appointment with a UDAP
Depending on the nature of the project, a simple email transmission of your draft may be sufficient (UDAP generic mail to be found in the "Your contacts" section)
An appointment with the UDAP can be useful for larger projects. This appointment can be made at the headquarters of the UDAP or during the permanences in town hall, in the latter case the appointment is to be taken at the town hall.
Contact your UDAP
Whether by email or by appointment, the UDAP needs a minimum of information to understand the project and answer your questions. In addition to the fact that the project needs to be defined fairly accurately, it is important that you can provide the PDU with the following:
- Current status:
- Map (or aerial view) of the location of your project at the neighborhood scale;
- Current plans and/or views of your property (facades on street/ courtyard/ cuts, etc.);
- Photos of the close and distant environment, allowing to consider the landscape context in which the project is inserted (view of the street/ neighboring buildings, etc.).
- Future status:
- Sketch of the mass plan of the project / elevations of the project facades / sections of the project;
- Choice of materials (technical sheets and/ or photos) / models (for joinery in particular) and desired shades.
