These spaces consist of a reception hall, with direct access and
space suitable for the reception of a concert hall and a
stage equipment and finally lateral spaces on seven levels,
for the artists and technicians of the
Comédie-Française.
A project consisting in the realization of a room, conceived as a place of
work and modular representations, will be done for this volume.
Responding to the longstanding wish expressed by Muriel Mayette, Administrator
of the Comédie-Française and the French Comedians, it will
diverse artistic work, complementary to that presented in the room
Richelieu and meeting the requirements of contemporary writing. The
Studies will start in 2012.
At the same time, a reflection is being carried out for the realization of a second room
of rehearsals for the Opéra Bastille, to complete the rehearsal room
for the orchestra, intended to address the problems of use in

This decision led to a close consultation with the Comédie-
French and the Opéra National de Paris, which will continue throughout the
long studies to come.
