Purpose of residence
The residence combines archaeo-glassmakers (Infondus) for the construction of an antique oven, a plastic artist and a school of the territory of Haute-Corrèze Community. The objective of the residency for the artist will be to produce a work using glass produced in collaboration with archaeo-glassmakers, in whole or in part.
Dates of residence
In two stages: April 24 to May 12, 2023 included and May 22 to May 27, 2023 included (mandatory attendance on these dates).
Proposed Conditions
- A workshop Accommodation and meals in a school.
- A production grant of 500 euros.
- Residency fees of 1000 euros.
- School and educational intervention fees of 1200 euros.
- A travel package of 300 euros.
- Teams from both structures and archaeo-glassmakers to accompany the artist in his research and productions. The work produced by the artist will remain his property.
Application procedures
Elements to be provided for the application:
- Portfolio in PDF format
- Artistic resume
- A project of intention (contact the center to know the details of the possibilities of production of glass with this type of furnace).
