At the heart of the Bourbonnais Bocage Community of Communes, the bocage landscapes and wooded areas stand as emblems, shaping the natural identity of this territory. Forests, in particular, play a major role, occupying a total area of 9,023 hectares, or 12% of the total area of the community. These wooded areas not only provide refuge for a multitude of species, but also contribute to the preservation of local ecological balances.
Artists will have to meet the inhabitants, discover the cultural actors and imagine with and for them, an artistic creation inspired by the landscapes of the Bocage, its spaces, and why not its sound environment…
They will have to plan times of creation taking into account the perceptions, representations and affects of the inhabitants, times of practice… They must also provide a narrative (trace) of the entire period of residence.
One of the aims of this convention is to initiate with the territory, the inhabitants and the cultural or social actors, an approach of Artistic and Cultural Education (EAC) by federating around a theme: the bocage.
- Between May and June : Introductory phase of the project and period of exchanges between artists, local actors and cultural service. Definition of the timetable and signature of reciprocal commitments.
- June to September: Creation phase, implementation of cultural actions with various audiences (leisure centers, medical-social institutions, schools, presence on events or venues such as markets, etc.)
- October: Finalization and restitution of the final project in nature.
