We are living in crucial times of transition. The climate issue has become an emergency and adapting our way of life a necessity.
Culture occupies an essential place in these upheavals: in addition to the regulatory changes to be made, it is a deeper evolution that must be undertaken, through a change in representations, a redefinition of the imaginary, where humanity is not alien to nature, but participates fully in its evolution and equilibrium.

9 MODULES: 5 in Paris, 4 in the regions
MODULE 1 - 10, 11 and 12 September 2020
Cultural policiesWhat new dimensions in a context of transition?
In an environment where there are many actors, territorialized policies, and significant funding constraints, what role is the Ministry of Culture expected to play? What is the relationship with other decision-makers and actors? How can we anticipate ongoing environmental and social changes and better target audiences?
MODULE 2 - October 15 and 16, 2020
Culture serving the territories in transition
How does culture play a role at all scales of space to foster a sense of belonging, equality and cohesion?
MODULE 3 - 27, 28 and 29 May 2021
International and European action: acting in an uncertain world
In a multipolar and uncertain world, how does France envisage cultural dialogue with other nations? How does it see its cultural message at new cost? How is the French model of cultural policy perceived abroad and how can it evolve? What cultural cooperation is France establishing in Europe and in the world, what can it develop?
MODULE 4 - January 21 and 22, 2021
Media and cultural industries: what transformations? What sustainability?
As the first cultural sectors involved in the digital transition, how do the media and cultural industries see their future activity? What new regulations? And what transformations should we envisage in a context where digital technology as it has developed so far seems unsustainable?
MODULE 5 - June 10, 11 and 12, 2021
Creation and arts and cultural education: renewing the imagination
It is through creators that the change in representations that will allow our lifestyles to adapt to ongoing environmental changes can take place. How to accompany and disseminate these creations in their diversity? How can we allow a fruitful dialogue between the most diverse artistic scene possible and audiences whose practices are being renewed?
MODULE 6 - February 4 and 5, 2021
Heritage at the heart of a modernity to be reinvented
At a time when the credo in indefinite growth is crumbling, how can we innovate and reinvest in the existing, how can we better value inheritances? Is heritage condemned to remain a prisoner of the past?
MODULE 7 - April 8 and 9, 2021
The company, a cultural actor
The two traditional roles of the company in the cultural field (producer of cultural goods, patron) have been profoundly renewed and are no longer sufficient to describe the way in which certain companies act in the cultural field. Their growing attention to the effects of climate change and the involvement of some of them in the search for a new entrepreneurial model also contribute to a cultural change at work.
MODUON - 23, 24 and 25 September 2021
Configuration on the territory of a region: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
If the action of the Ministry of Culture is expressed in sectoral policies taking into account the specificity of the various channels of actors, it is not limited to it. In partnership with the different levels of local authorities, a policy in each territory is developed in which all the issues converge. Explorations in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
MODULE 9 - November 25 and 26, 2021
Colloquium and restitution of work
Colloquium on "Art and Culture in the Context of Technological, Societal and Environmental Changes" and restitution of the group work of the auditors in the presence of the Directorates of the Ministry.
