By introducing an incentive tax system, the law of 1er August 2003 changed the way associations and foundations are financed. Donations from individuals, corporate patronage, tax relief and simplification of procedures for public utility organizations were the main objectives of this law whose legacy is still alive. The series of meetings that opens in Tulle on October 21 proposes to take stock of these 20 years of development of patronage in New Aquitaine and to question, to better prepare them, the major issues of tomorrow.
Yesterday’s patrons, today’s patrons: a first stopover in Tulle on 21 October

In France, the law of 1er August 2003 on patronage allows a tax exemption, an attractive system especially for small and medium enterprises. The last known study of the Association for the Development of Industrial and Commercial Patronage (Admical), associated with the IFOP and the Ministry of Finance, revealed that out of 9% of the sponsoring companies, 96% are VSEs-SMEs.
In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, only 5.57% of companies in the region are patrons. The organizers therefore wanted to give the floor to the business leaders concerned to testify to the many exemplary initiatives that have flourished in 20 years (clubs, endowment funds, foundations, etc.)
