What is the principle of this call for applications?
Driven by the desire to reduce inequalities in access to art and culture, to enable the greatest number of children and young people of school age to raise artistic and cultural awareness, the cities of Lille, Lomme and Hellemmes has set itself an ambitious goal of generalising artistic and cultural education.
Therefore, the associated cities and their partners in the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) of Hauts-de-France, of rectorate of the Academy of Lille and of the Department of National Education (DSDEN - North) propose three mission residences:
- children’s authors, illustrators and illustrators
- architects, visual artists, designers, landscapers, alone or in collective
- musicians, dancers, actresses and comedians, alone or in a group
The general theme proposed for the 2024-2025 school year of the mission residences is: Fiesta ".
After Utopia in 2022 and Eldorado in 2019, the territory of Lille is preparing to celebrate the seventh thematic season of lille3000 Fiesta.
"This unifying theme of the festival therefore refers to sharing, gathering, living and doing together. If we all celebrate differently, in our respective families, in our cultures and according to our respective traditions, it is with these differences, these singularities, that we are invited to celebrate together!"
The full schedule can be found on the call for applications.
