What is the principle of this call for applications?
The Communauté d'agglomération Béthune-Bruay Artois Lys Romane (CABBALR) has for several years, initiated and developed, with its partners, education and awareness programs, showing a permanent desire to offer children of the territory, young people and their families the widest possible access to the offer cultural and artistic.
This is how each year artist residencies, aimed at children and young people in their different periods of life (school time, extracurricular and out of school time), but also towards the inhabitants of the territory as a whole. These mission residences concern all schools, cultural and associative structures welcoming audiences of the 100 municipalities that make up the intercommunality.
For the year 2025, CABBALR, in partnership with the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Hauts-de-France, the Rectorate of the Academy of Lille - Directorate of Departmental Services of National Education and in connection with the Departmental Council of Pas de Calais, and the Hauts-de-France Regional Council, launch 5 residencies. He is therefore wanted 5 artists and/or groups of professional artists from all fields of artistic expression.
It is a residence of four full months, consecutive, or seventeen and a half weeks of physical presence (90 days in total), at a rate of 5 to 6 days per week. 2 separate sessions are planned for 2025:
- Session 1: January 27 to June 6, 2025
- Session 2: September 2025 to January 2026
