What is the principle of these calls for applications?
ARCHIPELAGO is a dynamic territory combining training, cultural actions and operational tools. It aims, through the storytelling of the territory and its vulnerabilities, to raise awareness and set in motion elected officials, elected officials, technicians and technicians of Hauts-de-France towards adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
This call for applications, coordinated by the Sustainable Development Resource Centre (CERDD) and the Community of Agglomeration of Beauvaisis, aims to give life to a participatory artistic approach by setting up a mission residency as part of the first edition of ARCHIPEL.
Supported by the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs (DRAC) Hauts-de-France, the residence-mission «ARCHIPEL, Histoire(s) de s'adapter» is intended for artists from all fields of artistic expression that will accompany the inhabitants in the animation of a creative process around the vulnerabilities of their territory to the impacts of climate change in order to strengthen the attachment to their territory and to tell the story of the adaptive approach.
It is important to take into account the fact that the mission residence is not a creation residence since there is no issue of commissioning work. For the artists in residence, it is a question of making discover and sharing their artistic universes, their experiences and their know-how, to engage in a process of collective experimentation in connection with the theme of adaptation to climate change.
