Space description
At the end of the 1990s, Strasbourg was a pioneer in accompanying, for the first time in France, the return of the tramway to the city by a set of artistic commissions. Today, at the initiative of the Eurométropole, the extension of the tramway network to the West of the Strasbourg agglomeration, by the end of 2025, has the major objective of connecting neighborhoods and diverse populations. The project will serve the Strasbourg districts of Koenigshoffen and Hohberg, as well as the municipalities of Eckbolsheim and Wolfisheim. The project consists of 4 km of tracks and 8 tram stations that enhance the comfort and mobility of about 30,000 inhabitants.
