Call for applications for the creation of a comic strip around the trades of the Pays de Tronçais (03)

The community of communes of the Pays de Tronçais was born on December 31, 1999. It is located in the northwest of the department of Allier. It covers 15 municipalities and has 7,469 inhabitants. It is part of a rural territory, which suffers demographically and economically, while having:
- real human capital (associative and entrepreneurial);
- a strong identity carried by a forest massif whose evocative name «Tronçais» resonates well beyond its administrative limits of the Allier.
The community of municipalities of the Pays de Tronçais is committed to a coordination of a Territorial Convention of Artistic and Cultural Education (CTEAC) for all audiences, by the establishment of a coherent cultural action policy, promoting the complementarity of actors at the territorial level.

The call for projects is part of a discovery of the territory (its space, its heritage, its biodiversity, its inhabitants, etc.) to stroll and make it a sensitive experience. It undertakes to better understand and understand it by perceiving historical, geographical, environmental and societal issues.
This project aims to develop the appropriation of the younger generations of their territory by the trades of yesteryear through the realization of a comic book. 
Therefore, special attention should be paid to written expression, drawing and reading.
The project will highlight the Pays de Tronçais through its 15 member municipalities. School children (minimum 3 classes and maximum 5 classes) and residents of retirement homes will have to participate in the entire process of co-creation (writing, illustration, etc.).
